PolyPeptide Laboratories has a European GMP manufacturing site located in Malmö, Sweden.
With 6000 liters of total reactor capacity for solution phase manufacturing (with reactors from 150 L to 1500 L), and solid phase reactors up to 280 L, the Malmö facility is the ideal site for large scale GMP manufacturing for both SPPS and LPPS projects. The facility offers high pressure columns used for large-scale purification with internal diameters ranging from 20 to 60 cm. Isolation of peptides at large-scale is achieved with multiple large (200 kg ice capacity) tray lyophilizers.
The Malmö facility has successfully undergone 3 pre-approval inspections by the US FDA, and 1 additional site inspection by the FDA. Recent expansion has included the installation of additional SPPS capacity (for both small and large scale manufacture), and multiple purification suites - all for cGMP manufacture.
