Abstract:
Peptides have been gaining considerable attention in the pharmaceutical industry as drugs and drug candidates. However, peptide production still suffers from the use of large amounts of hazardous substances and the generation of large volumes of waste. Greening peptide synthesis has been the focus of PolyPeptide Group for many years with many alternatives being investigated to achieve sustainability and reduce the environmental impact of our manufacturing processes. This talk will further demonstrate the challenges related to the industrialization of these green approaches.
